Stats
I’ve been keeping track of my relapses and how much I’ve consumed in a spreadsheet, and I thought it would be interesting to share some of the statistics and insights I’ve gathered from it.
It’s best to vizualize the data on a larger screen.
The goal has always been to reduce the amount of alcohol and cigarettes consumed, and eventually reach zero.
Alcohol
Section titled “Alcohol”Each beer weighs 0.5L per unit.
By years
Section titled “By years”Smoking
Section titled “Smoking”Smoking has been a fairly recent habit, albeit a difficult one to quit. I’ve only started to track it in 2025, as I’ve initially consumed vapes and later on moved to cigarettes.
Cigarettes by years
Section titled “Cigarettes by years”Vapes by years
Section titled “Vapes by years”Conclusion
Section titled “Conclusion”Truth be told, you’d think I’d learn by now, but I haven’t. Watching these charts and seeing the numbers is somewhat eye-opening, but it hasn’t been enough to make me completely change my habits.
Like I’ve said, sometimes it’s quite demotivating to look back and see how much I’ve consumed, but I also try to focus on the positive aspects and the progress I’ve made. At the very least, each year I’ve reduced my consumption, which is a step in the right direction.
I just hope that one day I’ll be able to reach my goal of zero consumption, but for now, I’m just trying to take it one day at a time and keep working towards that goal.
